When Cantor Shira Adler sings in song and prayer at a Shabbat service her voice touches your heart and soul. You not only hear the words of Shabbat but feel the spirit as well in her renditions. Her voice is not her only strength. Her compassionate and patient teaching style help her bat/bar mitzvah students master not only the words and/or tunes of their torah and haftorah readings but to feel the meaning and beauty as well.  Throughout our preparation for my daughter's bat mitzvah Cantor Shira (as she is affectionately called) was always available providing guidance, direction and encouragement to my daughter as well as my family. I can't thank you enough for doing such a totally fantastic job last nite, and working so hard with the kids to get them ready for the big event. The service was really heavenly and inspirational.
